Prof. Rabau graduated Tel Aviv University, Faculty of Sciences (1966-1967), Medicine Medical School, University of Geneva, Switzerland in 1967-1969 and received Magna cum lauda at Medicine Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University (1969-1973). He completed his residency training in Surgery, Chaim Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer (1974-1980), Prof. Rabau continued his training in Colorectal Research Fellow, St. Marks Hospital for Diseases of the Colon and Rectum, London, UK (1980-1981) , in Colorectal Surgery, Minneapolis, MN, USA (1982), in Colorectal Clinical-Research, Dept. of General Surgery, Toronto General & Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto, Canada (1984-1985), in Colorectal disease, Cleveland Clinic, Fort Lauderdale, FL, USA (1995).
